I had the honor of shooting my very first destination wedding in Estes Park, Colorado. Crazy, right? The best part, it was my SISTER’S Colorado elopement!

Let me tell you all about it. Carmen and Kalab decided on having a super intimate wedding with just the two of them. No big crowd, no fuss, just the lovebirds and yours truly as their Colorado Elopement Photographer. How awesome is that?

When Carmen and Kalab were planning their Colorado elopement, they had a vision in mind. They wanted something classy, something that showcased the stunning beauty of the Colorado mountains. And so, they decided to have a first look session among the mountains, and boy, did it turn out magical!

The moment I captured at sunrise is beyond breathtaking. The soft glow of the rising sun, the mist floating over the mountains, and Carmen and Kalab standing there, completely in love and ready to start their journey together. I couldn’t have asked for a more picture-perfect destination elopement. And it couldn’t have meant anymore to me, being the one trusted to take my sisters wedding photos.

Being their Colorado Wedding Photographer was truly an incredible experience. It’s amazing how a photograph can capture so many emotions and memories in a single frame. I am so grateful to have had the opportunity to capture this special day for Carmen and Kalab.

Speaking of destination weddings, the whole experience has made me realize just how much I love being a Travel Wedding Photographer. There’s something so unique and exciting about exploring new places and capturing the love stories of couples from different parts of the world. It’s like combining my love for photography and travel into one incredible adventure. And if you know me, you know that I love photography and traveling like I love being alive.
