Maggie and Nicholas’ Kentucky engagement session at Barren River is one of my absolute favorites of this year! When Maggie reached out to me, I knew that this photo shoot would be something special.

These two don’t see each other often, but when they’re together they truly radiate joy and love. If there’s anything they’re going to do… it’s love hard and laugh even harder. I loved getting to know them and learning more about their love.

This engagement session was so fun & relaxing. It was a super windy day but they didn’t let it get them down! We laughed and joked the entire time which made for some pretty epic photos.

Maggie & Nicholas wanted to have some coffee and read their bible during the photoshoot because it’s two things that they love! They wanted to feature something that was very important to them and it was so sweet to see them going over their bible studies together.

Maggie & Nicholas have been dating for 4 years and will be tying the knot so soon! They met at church but really hit it off during a missions trip to Chicago! Just a few months later, they made it official and have been together ever since! They both love helping others and serving their community and that’s something that they love about each other.

When I asked how they would describe their relationship in 3 words, they said: Growth, Laughter, and Loud. How special is that!

When they decided to drink their favorite coffee and have bible study together during their Kentucky engagement session, I was so incredibly happy! I absolutely love when my couples include their favorite things into their photoshoots. It really gives your engagement session such a personalized experience.
